18 killed in Iraqi "progress"

18 killed in a "normal" day of Iraqi sectarian violence. It looks like Baghdad isn't the only place where bodies showing signs of torture are being dumped. Yet we continue to hear stories of "success" in Diyala due to employing "friendly" terrorists to wipe out (in a "friendly" way, I imagine) the "bad guys".

And remember, all this is happening as the Bush Administration tells us how peaceful Iraq is getting.
